“Há alguns anos atrás, eu jamais teria coragem coragem de postar uma foto mostrando meu corpo, um corpo magro, totalmente fora dos padrões imposto pela sociedade, um corpo que já foi muito zoado e talvez ainda seja, mas também um corpo de alguém que sem dúvidast…”
I was always this skinny insecure boy. But after a little growing up I realized that everyone is perfect in their own way. And that’s what I wanna show people.
It’s absolutely important to try to reach and spread the positivity around social media because the internet put these standards that are unrealistic causing people dislike their appearance which leads to other issues we face in our social media world.
I’m at the age where I wish I could accomplish things in such a rush, however I know with accomplishments you have to go through things.
“Eu quero mostrar que um homem pode ter sua masculinidade em alta mesmo sendo magro e curvilíneo!”
“Vejo beleza de todo canto do mundo. Pessoas diferentes e de culturas diferentes. Eu queria que todos também vejam minha beleza, meus traços.”
My biggest struggle is, lol, being bi-polar and juggling other things.
It's ok to be smaller and shorter or look a little less masculine because at the end of the day we are still men.
I would like to help prove to the world that petite, mixed-raced men are beautiful and still masculine…

⬇️LORENZ THE ORIGINAL⬇️

FEATURING Lorenz @renny__kenny of Harlem NYC who says;”This is a special picture to me. Growing up I’ve always been picked on because I was underweight. People have called me weak, skinny, anorexic, and so many other names. It may not seem that serious but after a while it can get to someone and really make them start hating their body like it did to me. I spent so long hating my body because I wasn’t as muscular or as fit as the other guys. I hated it because I didn’t exactly fit the description of what today’s society would consider to be a “perfect” body. In this picture, I was actually embracing my body. I didn’t feel like I was too skinny or like my weight was a problem, I got to just be me and be comfortable in my own skin. Yes, I may not have a body like everyone else, but it doesn’t mean that that’s a bad thing. People spend so long hating their bodies because they think that they’re too fat, too skinny, or anything else that doesn’t fit the standards that society has set. I just want to say forget these standards, forget what people think about your body. You should embrace your body as it is. Yes some of us may not look like the models in the magazines or the stars in the movies but that isn’t a bad thing. Yes, it would be nice to be them but it’s even better to be you. Whether you believe it or not, your body can be just as desirable as theirs are. I’m proud to say that I’ve grown to actually be ok with my weight, despite what others think about it and I hope that others who feel insecure about their bodies do the same at some point. We are how we are, and we look how we look, and that’s nothing to be ashamed of. Let this be a reminder to all of you. Know that you look amazing just the way you are. Thank you @projectskinnyboy for taking these pictures and allowing me to be a part of your project that allows people like me to embrace their bodies. Hopefully Project Skinny goes very far and inspires many people to just embrace the body that they have and feel comfortable with themselves”

Dontae is one of the original Atlanta projectskinnyboys. His Tattoo says;”Don’t forget to love yourself.”
”My biggest fear in life is forgetting who I am. No I do not mean getting dementia, I mean losing yourself along the way and not knowing what you want to live for not knowing what your own out look is on the world.”
